Slack, Telegram and notifications

In this article: how you connect Slack or Telegram to ask questions, get charts and a daily summary, and how notifications work.

ConnectingConnecting Slack or Telegram

You connect via Settings > Notifications. For Slack, choose the "Connect with Slack" button and select the channel where the bot may post; for Telegram, choose "Connect Telegram", open the bot via the link and send /start. In a few clicks you are connected and can ask your questions without opening the dashboard.

QuestionsAsking questions in your chat

Just ask your question in plain language; you get the answer directly in the chat, based on your own account data. The bot does not make up numbers and is clear about which period it covers. You can ask day questions and trends going back up to 90 days this way.

  • "How many clicks did my account have yesterday?"
  • "When was my last conversion?"
  • "Which account needs attention?"

ChartsCharts on request

Ask for a chart and the bot creates one directly in the chat, for example of clicks, conversions, cost or a combination. You can choose the type (line, bar, area or pie) and combine two metrics.

ShortcutsQuick commands

Besides free text there are quick commands. In Telegram you tap "/" for a menu; in Slack you use /adbuilder, or separate commands if you create them.

  • summary: a short summary of all your accounts
  • clicks, conversions, cost: the numbers over the last 30 days (with an account name after it for a single account)
  • chart: create a chart
  • reset: start a new conversation

DailyDaily summary

If you turn on the daily summary, you receive a short status update of your accounts every morning in your connected channel.

NotificationsNotifications in the app, Slack and Telegram

Important signals (such as critical recommendations, sync problems or overspending) appear as a notification in the app, via the bell icon top right. If you have connected Slack or Telegram, those notifications arrive there too. You choose yourself which urgency you want to receive where.
