You can request deletion of your AdBuilder.online account and its associated data at any time. AdBuilder.online is operated by Brandforward, Hoofdveste 10, 3992 DG Houten, The Netherlands. This page explains how to do that, what is deleted and within what timeframe.
1. How to delete your data
- In the app. Go to Settings and choose Delete account. You confirm the deletion and the process starts immediately.
- By email. Send a request to [email protected] from the email address you registered with, using the subject "Data deletion". If you signed in with Google or Facebook, include the email address or account name you used, so we can locate the correct account.
You have two ways to request deletion:
2. What is deleted
- Your profile and account details (name, email address, language preference and settings).
- Your projects and the campaigns, drafts, ad copy and keywords generated by the app.
- Stored figures, analyses, recommendations and audits linked to your account.
- The connections to your advertising accounts, including the stored access tokens.
When your account is deleted, we erase your account and its associated data from our active systems, including:
3. Connected advertising platforms (Google Ads and Meta)
On our side, we remove the connection to your advertising accounts and the associated access tokens, so that AdBuilder no longer has access afterwards.
Campaigns or ads that you have already published from AdBuilder to your own Google Ads or Meta account remain in those accounts. They are under your own control; you can pause, edit or delete them directly in Google Ads or in Meta (Ads Manager). You can also revoke AdBuilder's access yourself through the settings of your Google or Meta account.
4. Timeframe
We delete your data from our active systems within 30 days of receiving your request. Data held in routine backups is removed afterwards as those backups expire according to our retention schedule. On request, we will confirm by email that the deletion has been carried out.
5. What we may retain
We may or must retain a limited part of the data for longer where the law requires or permits it, for example billing and tax records and data needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. We keep such data no longer than necessary and delete it once the legal basis no longer applies. For more information on how we process personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
